Robotic Car Specifications

• Maximum allowed dimensions of the Robotic Car must exceed 30cm*30cm*25cm (L*B*H)
• Robotic Car may be wired of wireless. For wired car, the length of wire should be long enough to cover the whole track.
• Only wheels are allowed for locomotion, conveyer belts may be used. Flying or jumping of car is not allowed.
• The Car must not emit smoke or fire, leak, stain or soil, spray, throw or use projectiles.
• The weight of the robotic car should not be more than 2kgs (excluding power source).
• The Power supply to be used should not exceed 15V
• Readymade toy cars are not allowed.
• Car can have maximum 6 DC motors.
• At all times, the robotic car’s behavior should be non-offensive, non-destructive and non-harmful to humans as well as track.
• Internal combustion engine cannot be used.
• Use of engines or compression is not allowed. The robotic car must depend only on motors for its propulsion and control.
• The person who has made the robot should be able to explain the circuit of it.

Team Specifications:

• Each team can have maximum of 3 members. Students from different colleges can form a team.
• Entry Fees for a team is Rs 100/-
• Each member of team must contain identity card of his/her respective institute.
• Any unethical behavior could lead to disqualification. The organizers have all the rights to take final decision for any matter during the event.

LEVEL 1 - ROBOFIFA

• Level 1 is a football match between the robotic cars made by the team members.
• A platform of dimensions 10ft * 8ft will be provided for the match.
• Two Goals points will be there at the each side.
• Time of the match is 7 minutes.
• One point will be given for 1 goal
• If there is a tie up between 2 teams, then there will be a tie-up match between them in which the team whose car makes first goal will be the winner. This match will be of maximum 5 minutes. If no robots is able to make any goal, then both teams will be disqualified.

LEVEL 2 – TECHNO RACE

• A track having obstacles will be there.
• There will be balloons in the track. Extra benefit of 10 seconds will be given to the team for each balloon the robot bursts.
• That team will be the winner whose robotic car takes least time to reach the end of the track.
• There will be certain obstacles in down, seesaw, balloon pit, etc. and the race track will try to slowdown the robotic car.
• The track surface may have unevenness.
• Track width is 1to 2 feet.
• There might be abrupt angles in the track.
• Three hand touches are allowed with a penalty of 30 seconds. For each hand touch, penalty time will be added further to the overall time required by the robot for completion of specified round.
• If any robot starts off before start up call, the counter would be restarted and the machines will get second chance. If repeated again, then team will be disqualified.
