This event is based on Fused manufacturing technology (FDM) commonly used for modelling, prototyping, and production applications. It is one of the techniques used for 3D printing.

In this event the raw material like soap or wax, knife, glue along with mechanical tools will be provided to the participants. Students have to make a prototype of given 2D drawing in to 3D, by combining layers

Best two will be selected on the basis of dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
